Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Zord — the website at zord.app and the Salesforce org-monitoring product it describes. By joining the waitlist, creating an account, or otherwise using Zord, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who these Terms are for

Zord is a business-to-business service, built for organisations to monitor their own Salesforce orgs. By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm you're doing so on behalf of a business or other organisation, not as a consumer acting for purely personal purposes. If you're accepting these Terms on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

2. The service

Zord monitors the health, security posture, access configuration, and code quality of Salesforce orgs you connect, and surfaces findings and alerts. Zord is currently in a waitlist / early-access phase — features described on our website may still be in active development, and we'll be upfront on the site about what's live today versus what's coming.

Designed to be read-only. Zord requests OAuth scopes designed to be read-only, and is built so its own code only ever issues read requests to the Salesforce APIs it uses — it does not deploy metadata, edit settings, or write to records. This is a statement about how we've built and operate Zord, not a technical restriction enforced by Salesforce itself; you can review and revoke Zord's access at any time from your Salesforce org's Connected Apps OAuth Usage page.

3. Accounts and access

• You're responsible for the accuracy of information you give us and for activity under your account.
• You're responsible for the permissions you grant Zord when connecting a Salesforce org, and for ensuring you're authorised to connect that org.
• Account owners can invite and remove team members; removing a member revokes their access immediately.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Zord to access a Salesforce org you're not authorised to access.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or overload the service.
• Use Zord to build a competing product using data or access obtained through it.
• Misrepresent your identity or your authority to act for an organisation.

5. Fees, billing, and refunds

Joining the waitlist and early access are free. When paid plans launch, pricing and billing terms will be shown at checkout and form part of these Terms for that subscription.

5.1 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee: if you cancel within 14 days of your first payment on a plan, we'll refund that payment in full. Outside that window, payments for a billing period already in progress aren't refunded, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. This doesn't affect any refund rights you have that can't be excluded under applicable law. See our full Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

Zord and its underlying technology are owned by us. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that ownership to you. You retain all rights to the data in your Salesforce org; we only access it to the extent needed to provide the service, and as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

Zord is provided “as is” and “as available.” We're actively developing the product, especially during the early-access phase, and don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any finding, score, or alert is complete or exhaustive. Zord is a monitoring aid, not a substitute for your own security review or professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zord won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to Zord is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Termination

You can stop using Zord and disconnect your orgs at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, and will give notice where reasonably possible.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales — except where applicable local consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own country's courts.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product develops. We'll update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes, tell existing account holders directly.
